GLOSSARY

REVIEW OUR MAJOR CONCEPTS

NEIGHBORHOOD

Shopping center consisting on 1 anchor store and 10 to 20 minor stores.

STRIP CENTER

Shopping center holding between 5 and 10 minor stores. Those centers do not have necessarily an anchor store.

STAND ALONE

Shopping center consisting in one sole anchor store, capable of attracting a great number of customers, as in hypermarkets and department stores.

OUTLET

Shopping center usually located in the suburbs, characterized by selling off-season products at lower prices.

GLA

Gross Leasable area.
Measured in square meters.

Proportional GLA

Sum of the GLA of assets in which the issuer has an interest, weighted by its share of ownership.

Anchor store

Facility that generates great traffic of customers in a Shopping center. Usually related to supermarkets or department stores.

NOI (Non Operational Income)

Measures the profitability of a real estate asset, calculated as the difference between total income and operational expenditure.

Adjusted EBITDA

Corresponds to the sum of the EBITDA consolidated by issuer and societies holding interests, weighted by share of ownership of the issuer in those entities.

Proportional and Annual Lease Income

Corresponds to the sum of lease-related income of issuer and the societies holding interests, weighted by share of ownership of the issuer in those entities.

Net financial expense

Differential between “Financial Costs” and “Financial Income” accounts.
